Travel Vaccinations
If you require any vaccinations relating to foreign travel, please complete our online travel form.
It is important to make this initial appointment as early as possible - at least 6 weeks before you travel - as a second appointment will be required with the practice nurse to actually receive the vaccinations. These vaccines have to be ordered as they are not a stock vaccine. Your second appointment needs to be at least 2 weeks before you travel to allow the vaccines to work.
We offer Polio (given as a combined diphtheria/tetanus/polio jab), Typhoid, Hepatitis A and Cholera vaccines. If you require any other vaccines, please visit a pharmacy offering travel vaccinations or a private travel clinic.
You should bring with you a record of any previous immunisations you have had.

If you are travelling to Europe you will need a European Health Insurance Card (EHIC) or UK Global Health Insurance Card (GHIC) to enable you to obtain medical treatment.
This replaced the old E111 and will cover you for all EU countries plus Liechtenstein, Switzerland, Norway and Iceland.
Visit your local post office or benefits office to pick up an application form for one of these.
